It's that time again!

Are you interested in serving as a NOVABAA Officer?  After four incredibly long, tedious and burdensome years, our officers are stepping down and moving on to other challenges.  If you are interested in serving NOVABAA as an officer, whether it is as our 16th President, or perhaps as Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, now is your time to shine!

If you are interested, please submit a letter of interest to novabaa@gmail.com and copy president@novabaa.org by October 27, 2024 (1 week prior) .  Everyone who submits a letter will be placed on the ballot.  The letter should include their goals and vision for their role in NOVABAA and what they hope to accomplish in that role as well as a little bit about yourself and prior service/roles (whether professionally, in other bar associations, or other organizations) that you've held that will help you.  Note that we will accept nominations from the floor as well.  So if you do not submit your name by October 27, 2024 (1 week prior), you are still eligible to run, but your name will not be on the ballot.

A Special Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Sunday November 3, 2024 at 7pm for the purpose of conducting NOVABAA's Elections for the upcoming two year term.  Only dues paid members will be permitted to (1) run for office, and (2) vote. The Zoom meeting credentials and login are accessible here.  You will be admitted into the meeting once dues paid membership is confirmed.

Finally, if you are interested in serving, but not as an officer - please reach out to the incoming President.  Under our bylaws, they are the ones who will choose the Committee Chairs and the direction NOVABAA goes.  We've had a helluva ride, and I look forward to heckling our incoming leadership seeing the new incredible things that NOVABAA does as it improves upon the things we have done.

The Deadline to get on the Ballot is October 27, 2024 (1 week before the election), but you may run from the floor if you so choose.  A reminder will be sent on 10/27 just in case.
